Learn how to start on your first live payment with ICEPAY.

Welcome! This guide takes you from creating an ICEPAY account to receiving your first live payment. It should take about 15 minutes to read.

How ICEPAY works

A payment always follows the same lifecycle:

  1. Your webshop creates a checkout with ICEPAY.
  2. The shopper is redirected to the checkout or payment page, where they complete the payment.
  3. ICEPAY notifies your webshop (postback) with the final status.
  4. The shopper is redirected back to your success or failure page.

1. Create your account

Sign up in the ICEPAY Portal and complete onboarding.

2. Configure your merchant

Add your webshop, get API credentials, enable payment methods.

3. Your first payment

Make a test payment end-to-end.

4. Go live

Test, review pricing, and switch to production.
